A Chain-Driven Belt Is a Drive System, Not Just a Mesh Surface
Many replacement projects go wrong because the buyer sends only width and a few photos. For chain-driven belts, chain pitch, sprocket wear, rod route, and edge alignment should be reviewed together.
Old Belt Evidence
Take clear top-view, side-view, and damaged-area photos. If possible, keep one sample section with chain edge, rod route, and mesh surface intact.
Chain and Sprocket Data
Record chain pitch or model, tooth count, bore, keyway, shaft notes, and visible wear on the old sprocket before the replacement route starts.
Width and Running Route
Measure total width, chain-center distance, rod spacing, and left-right edge condition. Add notes about tracking behavior and side clearance.
Application Conditions
Send product load, conveyor speed, washing or drying route, temperature, and any transfer-point impact that may affect rod strength or chain wear.
